Jailbirds

Since I am sharing photos of my neighborhood, I thought I would share another interesting picture. This is a picture of the maximum security jail (the concrete building with the narrow vertical slits for windows) that is located in the loop (just a few blocks from my apartment).



If you look closely at the top, you can see the prisoners (wesaring orange outfits and some white outfits). The top floor is their recreation area. Sometimes, I look through my scope and I can see them playing vollyball... but, most of the time, they are just looking out at the city or down at the streets.
